Invitations Open to New York Anniversary Party Event!
Hello Penguins!

Some of you have been asking about the Anniversary Party in New York City and the live broadcast on clubpenguin.com next week and we wanted to give you an update.

Invitations are now open for those of you who can make it to the event at Times Square in New York next Friday! To submit a request for an invitation visit clubpenguin.com/celebrate.

  • If you live in or around New York, and you can get to the event with a parent or guardian, put your name in for a chance to be selected for a special invitation to the party. Space is limited and not everyone will receive an invitation.

Remember, everyone can login to watch the live broadcast from New York by clicking on the special button at the top of your play screen from 12 – 3 (Club Penguin Time) on Oct. 24th. And we’ll be broadcasting the fun you’re having in Club Penguin onto jumbo screens right in the middle of Times Square!

Let us know what you and your penguin friends are doing to get ready for the Anniversary Party!

A lot of you have noticed an old pirate friend in the telescope this week. Rockhopper is here today! I’m sure he’ll have a few surprises with him so make sure to check out the Captain’s Quarters in the Migrator for Rockhopper’s Rare Items — and to play the Treasure Hunt game.

screenoct2.jpgIf you haven’t had a chance to meet him yet, he’ll be hanging out around the island!!

In Other News: There’s new igloo furniture today and a Halloween themed igloo! Make sure and check all the new stuff that’s in the catalogs – The igloo decorating contest starts today so hopefully it’ll inspire you to deck out your igloo!! Let us know what you think!

Our 3rd Anniversary Party starts next week, can you believe it!? I wanted to give you an update because this year we have something VERY special planned.

Not only do we celebrate our 3rd anniversary on October 24, but it’s also the day the new Club Penguin toys arrive! We didn’t want to miss the opportunity to celebrate both at the same time with everyone! So we planned something we hope you’ll love!
Party_Penguin.jpg
On October 24 you and your buddies can party online in Club Penguin AND at Times Square in New York!!
Between 3 pm – 6 pm Eastern Standard Time (that’s 12-3 Penguin Time) on October 24, you can tune in for the live broadcast from New York and watch it while your partying in Club Penguin with your buddies! There will also be an opportunity to attend the event in New York, however space is very limited.
Visit clubpenguin.com/celebrate for more details on the special anniversary event.
If you can’t make it on October 24, don’t worry because the online party is being extended this year and will be up ALL weekend! And it will be bigger than any other Anniversary Party! More rooms will be decorated, a new Yearbook will be released, AND I even heard that Rockhopper plans to make an appearance!
As always, we hope you’re excited and can’t wait to hear what you think!

I have an exciting update today and I wanted you to be the first to know. In the last few years, many of you have requested to be able to play Club Penguin in different languages. We’ve been working on it and today we launched the first of many new languages: Portuguese!  More languages will be coming out throughout the year and we’ll let you know as soon as they’re ready.

portug.jpgWhen you login to play, you’ll notice you can select a language on the top navigation. Right now you can choose English or Portuguese. If you want to play in Portuguese, select that language, and when you enter Club Penguin EVERYTHING will be in Portuguese. Cool!

To celebrate, here are a few Portuguese phrases –

Welcome = Bem-vindo
Congratulations! = Parabens!
You’re cool! = Voce e muito legal!

Until then…waddle on!
PINGUINANDO!

Hello Penguins!

The arrival of the new toys is getting closer (just a little over a week away!) and I wanted to give you an update on something you’ll find with your toy when you get one–actually it has been a suggestion from a lot of you in the past.

When you get a toy, you’ll find a coin attached to it. The coin is special for a couple reasons: The first reason is because every coin is different so you will definitely want to collect them! The second reason is because there’s a code on one side that will unlock special items on your penguin account!

coins.jpgWhen you enter your code, you will unlock a very special book that will give you access to a lot of all-time favorite items from Club Penguin that haven’t been around for a long time AND even some new, never before seen exclusive items that you can only get in this book! It will work the same for all penguins (those with memberships and without memberships).

We can’t wait to hear what you think! Let us know what you’re hoping to unlock!!

The Halloween igloo decorating contest gets started on Friday and we can’t wait to see all the creative things you’ll do!

To enter, simply decorate your igloo – Use your creativity to come up with the best Halloween design. Winners will be announced in the Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 newspapers. Grand Prize winners will receive 25,000 coins and Runner-ups will receive 15,000 coins!

Here’s a look at one of the Medieval Party igloo contest winners back in in May:

mid.igloo.jpgWe’d love to hear what you’ve got planned for your Halloween-themed igloo! There is a new furniture catalog coming on Friday so check it out for lots of Halloween items.

Hello Penguins!

There sure is a lot going on in Club Penguin this month, and one of the most exciting events is the upcoming 3rd Anniversary Party! There are a couple of surprises, but here’s what I can tell you right now:

  • The celebration starts on October 24 (the same day the new toys arrive!) and goes until October 26. We get to party together ALL weekend!
  • More areas will be decorated
  • A new Yearbook will be released!

The Yearbook is really cool because it’ll show a lot of the events you told us you loved from the past year. You’ll be able to see it at the party, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek:

Yearbook_SneakPeek.jpgI’ll have more details about the party next week. Be sure to let us know what you think and tell us what you have planned to celebrate our 3rd year!

  1. GO HERE
  2. Register
  3. Activate your account by clicking link in email
  4. Log in
  5. Go to Available Offers
  6. Do an offer (around 1 point per offer)
  7. Once you get 5 points, click Custom Offers (or Available Offers) and buy a CP Membership Card!
  8. You can save up points to buy other items! Like Game Consoles or iPods.
  9. Is this for real?

Yep! It’s 100% real. You can go there and click Testimonials. There are over hundreds of people who sent in pictures of them with their game consoles and games.

    How else can I check?

Just do it and try it out. It’ll take around a half hour tops. And they’ll send you a Membership Game card from Target.

Why do they give it to you?

People pay them to advertise on their site. They pay you to view/complete the advertisements.

Do I put in real info?

NO! NEVER! Create a spam email just for this. Then use that. Any information it asks, just make up things (that’s what I do). It usually just asks you to COMPLETE the form. That’s all you have to do. No real info! ;)

I did the Offer but the points haven’t shown up!

Give it a day or two. It takes that long for the site to process it and then put the points on your account. If it’s still not there after 2-3 days, you probably didn’t do the Offer right.

How far do I have to go in the Offer before it’s considered DONE?

For each offer, you should only have to enter your “personal information” (ALWAYS MAKE UP A FAKE ONE) only once. [Personal info being address, etc.] And your email once or twice. After you do that, some advertisements will show up. There is a little button that says “No Thanks” or “No” or “Skip” that is usually around the upper right corner of each. Keep clicking that until you get to a page that asks you to do Gold, Silver, and Bronze offers. You don’t have to do these! You are now done the offer.

Any tools that can help me do offers faster?

Firefox has an Add-on called AutoFill (there are other tools like this). You just have to enter the information once on the AutoFill settings form and you’ll be able to fill out most of the Offer by clicking the AutoFill button just once.

When do I have to put in my real address?

The ONLY time you should put in real info is when you’ve gotten the points and you’re telling them the address to email the card. This is entirely confidential. Thousands of people have done this. If you still don’t believe me, you can test it by entering fake information all the time and then entering a PO box for them to ship the prize.

    It says this isn’t a valid address…

That’s because the Offer probably realized that the address you typed is fake. Make up a more convincing one.

I still have some unanswered questions.

They have an FAQ on the site. Check it out.

    Other Stuff

I know a lot of people who already know about the site and have gotten game cards from the site (including myself). Ask your friends if they know about it.

Also, the site has a Testimonial section. It shows hundreds of pictures of people who received their prizes.
